General Guidelines for Exhibitor
  • New exhibitors and exhibitors who participated in the 2019 Institute, have first chance to do so in the 2020 show and open to new or old exhibitors on a first come first serve basis, with payment for space paid for in full upon reserving space. Applications for new exhibits will be on a first come first serve basis, with priority given to those new developments in equipment or technology. All displays must pertain to the production and or processing of sugar beets and will be screened by the exhibit committee.
  • Please note show hours are 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM on the 11th and 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM on the 12th. Exhibitors who leave before scheduled or announced close time will forfeit their ability to participate in future events.
  • If you are requesting floor space, please note that space is rented by blocks, meaning that you will be renting the entire area of your display, including the walk areas in and around your equipment. Blocks will be 20’, 40’ or 50’ in depth. The width is available in 2' increments. If you exhibited last year and need to know the size of that block, you can contact Niki Lynnes. Any requests for increased space size can be made but cannot be guaranteed at this time. You will be notified one way or another about your request as-soon-as possible. It is also impossible to give exact locations at this time, as it will depend on getting all displays rented to fit.
  • Pipe and Drape display location will, in most cases be approximately the same as two years ago, but we reserve the right to relocate some displays to avoid duplication in the same area as well as improving the show.
  • Tables, chairs, and other accessories will be available for rent from the show convention services at the Alerus Center. You will receive a form via email if you have booth or floor space.
  • Please Note: EVERY exhibit must be directly related to the production or processing of sugarbeets. Trucks with boxes set up for small grains, etc. are NOT ALLOWED. We will allow a grain tarp on the truck if it is rolled up and the box trailer is otherwise set up for sugarbeets. The exhibits committee and myself will be the final judge on any questions in the or other areas. Failure to follow these rules will result in display being removed from the show.

Set-up day for Floor Displays are Monday March 9th & Set-up for Pipe and Drape displays is Tuesday March 10th
Please call Mohamed Khan or email Niki if you need further information or have questions.
